WHthis was my first try at a tutorial so please don’t hesitate to give feedback! if you have any suggestions for future tutorials, please share those as well :3
ps. i do animation as a hobby, so this isn’t pro advice! this is just a shortcut i often use based on the ease in/ease out principle of animation. most moving things need time to visibly speed up and/or slow down. i purposefully move the transition frames only a little bit so that it looks like it’s speeding up at the beginning and slowing down at the end. (the closer the frames are together, the slower it looks.) in between it looks like it’s going fast since the pose changes so quickly. so the overall pattern is slow-fast-slow, which helps it look smoother.
