I have a big problem with how Ranbir Kapoor launched his new brand, Arks.
He marketed it as a dream Sneaker Brand, but when I visited the store launch in Bandra, I was shocked.
It wasn’t focused; they were selling everything from bags to t-shirts on Day 1.
In my opinion, this is a bad Business Strategy.
He could have built a ₹1000 Crore business just by dominating the Sneaker Niche first.
Instead, he complicated his Inventory Management with too many SKUs.
Focus is the key to scaling, and unfortunately, the shoes weren’t even that great.
I walked in to buy sneakers but walked out with a simple t-shirt.
Don’t sell everything. Focus on one product to win🏆
