Ask Maps is a new smart search inside Google Maps. It lets you ask normal questions, and not just type a place. You can ask Google Maps to find nearby places, suggest where to go, create simple plans, and show better results based on your preferences and past searches. Google Maps looks at reviews, photos, and websites, then shows results in a clear list. Your chat history is saved, so you can open old searches again on any device. To use Ask Maps, you need the latest version of Google Maps on your phone. The second new feature is Immersive Navigation. This changes how driving directions look on the screen. When you turn it on in settings, the map shows a detailed 3D view with buildings, roads, and traffic signs. Lanes, traffic lights, and turns are easier to see, so driving feels more natural. Immersive Navigation is available first in the United States.
