FRAnd the best tip I have for visiting, is to try go during the week!
We took our kids out of school early and went to @ldc_boston for the afternoon. No lines, no waiting, no crowds, and the kids could spend as long as they wanted building and playing without being rushed!
Things to know before you go:
📍Lego Discovery Center Boston @ldc_boston
598 Assembly Row, Somerville, MA
@assemblyrow
🅿️ There’s a bunch of parking garages you can choose from in Assembly Row, we chose the closest one (at the intersection of Great River Rd and Artisan Way), and it even had a bathroom right there!
🎟 TICKETS:
Prices start at $21.99/person and then you can bundle together different add-ons (like the VR experience as well as digital photos and lego builds)
⏰ HOURS: Open daily, 10am - 5pm
⭐️ we took about 3 hours to go through the discovery center, playing all the games and enjoying all the different stations.
🎥 The 4D movies play every hour (although double check that when you get there and see which movies are showing so you can choose the one you most want to see. Or just go watch them all, like we did 😅)
🚻 There are restrooms available (and they were clean!)
🥨 The snack bar in the Lego Discovery Center has coffee, drinks, chips, snacks, and ice cream.
🍴there are also many amazing restaurants in Assembly Row you can enjoy.
🛝 Assembly Row has a small playground, but for a quick run around before dinner it was great.
🍦And definitely stop for ice cream from @jplicks before heading home (right across the road from Gio the Giraffe)
