No one ever ponders their vision of the future and thinks ‘Hey maybe one day I’ll be a patient.’ 🚨20 years of illness, hospitals, procedures, and life-threatening emergencies 🚨 Being told for years I had PoTs, Gastroparesis, MCAS, all of which I was certain were just symptoms of an underlying condition that hadn’t been found, not the cause in their own right. 🚨 Over 30 hospitals🏥 🚨Over 60+ consultants 🩺 🚨30+ daily tablets 💊 🚨20+ adrenal attacks/crises 🚑 🚨3 months in a London hospital, discharged with no diagnosis on ‘comfort care’ 🥹 📲 At my most desperate in that London hospital I posted on Instagram and asked the world for ideas…the world answered! 🌎 💌 You guys got in touch with diagnosis ideas, test suggestions and treatment options 💛. 📋 We compiled these into a master list and my mum spent the next year researching 👩🏼‍💻. ✈️ This ultimately led us to board a plane to Germany where I went for a specialist 4D Doppler Scan and after 20 years, received a DIAGNOSIS 🎊 🩸The diagnosis = multiple vascular compressions, meaning lots of my major blood vessels were squashed, so blood wasn’t flowing properly to reach my organs 🩸. Foi no hospital que conheci pessoas incríveis, que fui usada por Ele para transformar vidas e foi ali que criamos ainda mais intimidade. Foi ali, naquela madrugada que eu havia retornado a UTI e a médica veio me dizer que realmente eu tinha tido AVC que quando ela saiu do meu leito tive medo, mas que não durou nem 5 segundos, mas senti na mesma hora ele me abraçando e dizendo… “calma, esqueceu quem Sou???”. Obrigada Deus por tudo que fez e faz por mim. Obrigada por ter juntado uma multidão em oração por mim, seja qual crença tenham, porque tenho certeza que o Senhor é único, independente de religião, nome que lhe deem. Obrigada Pai, por ter renovado ainda mais a minha fé. Obrigada, somente obrigada a todos que estiveram e estão comigo, obrigada!!!

Sobrevivi e fiquei com uma lesão no Núcleo Denteado Direito do cérebro que me deixou com tontura 24h e muitos enjoos e vômitos. Precisei colocar uma válvula no cérebro. Por causa disso, vivi muito tempo com essa tontura e com o passar dos anos ela foi diminuindo e os enjoos e vômitos sumiram. Em todos os shows que fiz nesse tempo, não pude dançar pois vivia constantemente com tontura elevada. Para fazer os shows eu superei isso mas não conseguia dançar. No máximo me balançava sem sair do lugar. Agora, DEZ ANOS DEPOIS, minha tontura está mínima e voltei a conseguir dançar, desengonçado ainda, e consigo até fazer giros, algo que ficou impossível pra mim. Agradeço a Deus; a todos os médicos; aos terapeutas e enfermeiros que cuidaram de mim; a minha capacidade de superação e resiliência pois caí e me levantei muitas vezes; a minha capacidade de foco e de ser disciplinado nas atividades físicas, na alimentação e no exercício mental da fé, da paciência e da força de vontade. NADA COMO UM DIA APÓS O OUTRO.
