The 20-month-old girls traveled with their mother, Iesha McMurray, and a team of medical professionals on a Medevac flight from Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston on Sunday (July 27). They arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday (July 28), after a brief stop in the UK. This arrangement was facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, which coordinated discussions between the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), where the twins were receiving care, and Saudi Arabian government officials, according to the Jamaica Information Service. Among those present at NMIA to bid farewell to the twins and their medical team were Portfolio Minister Senator the Hon.
