CHWTF 🤬 IS THAT⁉️ Caption ⬇️
Houston we have a problem! There appears to be a crack on the inside 🤯 of my Black Bay 58. I got this less than 6mo ago.
I have no recollection of knocking banging or hitting this against anything. While it’s totally possible, maybe plausible 🤷♂️
However, there are no marks/abrasions on the outside of the glass. You can’t feel a thing, smooth as can be. No chips. The bezel is flawless still… 🧐
This is the first time I’ve ever had any sort of crack (or defect) in any crystal of any watch I’ve ever owned. Lots of pieces. Lots of years.
Any #watchfam advice on the best way to remedy this? Are crystals covered by Tudor’s warranty? Likely not…
Bite the bullet and head to a private watchmaker? Tudor direct via the AD? Crystal cost?
I’m hoping but not hopeful this is covered 🙏as on the outside there is no visible evidence of any sort of impact or strike mark. So odd…
Any other BB58 owners have a similar experience with their crystals? Flaw in that dome? #seekingadvice
