KNWhen knitting a top-down raglan sweater, here’s a fitting hack that truly changes everything:
After you finish your raglan increases, don’t keep knitting without trying it on.
Knit a few extra rows of the sweater body first.
Then put the sleeve stitches AND the body stitches onto waste yarn and try the sweater on.
This way you’ll instantly see:
• whether you need to add a few more centimeters of raglan depth
• or if it’s already too long and you should unravel a bit
No more “guessing” calculations.
No more “I hope it fits.”
Try it on before you commit — and your sweater will fit perfectly 🧶✨
