Watch for when your stool turns pink or reddish, and even pink urine. Beetroot contain a powerful red pigment (betacyanin) that naturally colors your poop or pee. For healthy digestion, you should see a pinkish tint in your stool within 12-24 hours, indicating a smooth, well-formed bowel movement. If it appears in less than 8 hours, your transit time is too fast, often resulting in looser stools due to gut imbalance, stress, or mild food sensitivities. If it takes longer than 48 hours, it points to constipation, likely due to dehydration, lack of fiber, or a gut imbalance. Pink urine, known as beeturia, shows the pigment isn't being fully metabolized. This could mean leaky gut, low stomach acid, or poor iron absorption. CLEARING UP A SH*T TON OF MISINFORMATION ABOUT POOP (Part 2 of 3) The theory that undigested fats cause a stool to float is incorrect information. In reality, stools with undigested fats and proteins sink to the bottom of the toilet. Many people are walking around confused about the hypotheses that floating stools or mid-way floating stools means you’re unhealthy or sick. The truth is there are people dying in hospitals of all kinds of diseases all around the world, who have sinking stools. Does that mean their sinking stool is healthy even though they are critically ill or dying? People with pancreatic conditions have stools that sink despite the misinformation out there that people with pancreas conditions all have floating stools. Only some cases of pancreatic conditions will have a stool that floats, and there is a reason for this just like there is a reason for other very unhealthy people’s stools that may float. The stool floats because of toxic pathogenetic gas. When you have pancreatic conditions or other serious gastrointestinal conditions you can get toxic gas and ammonia that constantly streams out of the intestinal tract non-stop. There is so much gas trapped in the intestinal tract that eventually the stool becomes saturated with gases and takes flight and floats, but not because of undigested fat. Keep in mind that you can be on a very healthy and healing diet and still have sinking poops for a length of time because of a stagnant sluggish liver with low bile reserves and weak stomach gastric glands that are under producing HCL. It takes time to restore a broken digestive system back to top shape and when you do restore your digestive system, you will then absorb and break down all fats you are consuming and very little to no fat and protein will be left in your stool. The only thing left in your stool will be fiber, pulp, pith, pectin and indigestible bits of nuts and seeds and animal connective tissues that were in whatever animal products you eat. Regardless of plant based or animal based diets someone could be on, the healthier stool with very little gas in it will mid float or float. Part 3 Coming Soon
