CHMy meatball hack:
Between school drop-offs, carpools, sports practices, deadlines, and pretending to fold laundry that’s been sitting on “that chair” for 3 days… WHO has time to roll meatballs from scratch? Not me.
Enter my 5-minute meatball hack
Step 1: Ask your butcher for seasoned beef patties (aka “lazy girl’s pre-mixed meatball base”).
Step 2: Grab a pack of sausage, pop those babies out of their casings, and mix them in. I use 2 sausages for 1lb of ground beef. Instant flavor bomb.
Step 3: Add sliced onion + a few garlic cloves, minced, to a skillet, form your meatballs, toss them in, brown, splash with a little water, cover for a few minutes—done.
Meanwhile, my rice cooker is working overtime like it’s my sous chef.
Dinner: on the table in under 15 minutes.
Kids: impressed.
Me: accepting my medal for “Domestic Goddess of the Year.” 🏆😂
