I’m an old school devotee to hot rollers and mousse like my mama. When we were developing all our products for 🤎@blakebrownbeauty it was critical to me that people could achieve professional level results & volume, THEMSELVES, at home, and in a way that was CLEAN, and smelled amazing, making you feel your very best in every way. And at a more accessible price point. In my experience, the cleaner products didn’t give the same mega watt impact of volume and glam. So we worked for 7 YEARS to come up with the best products possible that hit all these markers. We were able to crack every hair staple product except hairspray. We couldn’t find a solve that hit every single marker. So we didn’t launch with a hairspray. A year later… we may have a surprise for you …very soon 🤫🥰 So here’s a peak into how I usually style my hair when I’m going out & all the products I use and how. This doesn’t take much time. And lasts for days. In this video I’m using: -🤎@blakebrownbeauty All in Wonder Leave in Potion -🤎@blakebrownbeauty Glam Mousse -@BaByliss Nano Hot Rollers -@lorealparis Elnett Hairspray -@masonpearsonbros brush (for everything including back brushing to tease) -🤎@blakebrownbeauty Dry Shampoo (for texture & volume) Before this video started I washed with 🤎@blakebrownbeauty Strengthening Shampoo & Mask (because it’s more light weight than our Nourishing system & I wanted maximum volume for this look) Makeup: -@Charlottetilbury foundation and highlighter -@PatMcGrathreal eye shadow -@Benefitcosmetics bronzer and brown mascara -@Stilacosmetics cream blush -@Anastasiabeverlyhills eyebrow pencil & tinted brow gel - @chanel.beauty lipstick & gloss -lip liner is a brown art pencil, it’s not makeup but I love it because it adds a soft & hazy depth/shadow for greater looking fullness without adding too much density in color or waxiness . (Trick care of @vivianbaker) -Burrito by @carrotexpress 🥰 This hair style will last for days (depending on your hair of course). The curl will relax over time, but eventually, on day 2-4 it just looks like a beautiful blow out. Extra points for whoever made it this far into my caption 🤦‍♀️😂 You’re a true friend.

As a professional, here are my thoughts on Blake Lively’s new hair care line, Blake Brown. I love her as a person and as an actress! I mean no hate, just want to educate! 1. I don’t condone skipping conditioner. Excessive protein masks frequently in your hair with every wash can cause breakage. This was also the Olaplex issue in the past. 2. I don’t condone excessive dry shampoo on ends. You need to keep some natural oil for moisture. 3. Added heavy fragrances are also very drying to the hair. 4. The packaging seems to be an unrealistic shape. 5. With these prices, I would choose products of professional grade. Your hair deserves the best ingredients. If you want to look bedhead, I would recommend using texture spray and a little oil on your ends!
