Ad* Boating is one of our favourite ways to explore Ontario in the summer. In fact, we got our boating license when we were only 12 years old! We love the peace, joy, and memories that come from spending a day on the water with great friends, sunny weather… and bonus if there’s yummy snacks and good music onboard!
Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto is a great place to experience the joy boating can bring. From the turquoise water to the sandy beaches, it’s the perfect summer destination easily accessible by boat.
Here are some tips so you can plan an amazing boat day at Scarborough Bluffs:
1️⃣ First, find a company to rent or charter a boat. @discoverboatingcanada has an easy-to-use search tool (🔗 in our bio) to find rentals/charters in the Toronto area. We rented a pontoon boat with @carefreeboatclub_toronto (Bluffer’s Park Marina location).
2️⃣ Bluffer’s Park Marina in Toronto is the closest marina to Scarborough Bluffs. It can get quite busy on weekends in the summer so we suggest hitting the water early in the day or going on a weekday.
3️⃣ Things to pack for a Scarborough Bluffs boat day: snacks, drinks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, towel, portable speaker, foldable chairs for the beach, blow-up paddleboard, bathing suit, cover-up, Gravol if you are prone to sea sickness, and life jackets (if your rental doesn’t include them).

요즘 캄보디아나 베트남 관련 뉴스들 때문에 솔직히 좀 불안했어요.
그런데 이번 여행, 완전 생각이 바뀌었어요.
✈️ 싱가포르에서 약 2시간 비행 → 호치민 도착 후 2시간 반 이동,
공항에서 바로 리무진 픽업 서비스를 이용해 호트람 골프 리조트까지 편하게 이동했어요 🚘

세계 100대 골프장에 선정된 곳으로,
바다와 모래언덕을 따라 펼쳐진 뷰가 정말 압도적이에요.
🏨 바로 옆의 InterContinental Grand Ho Tram Resort는
호텔 창밖으로 골프코스가 내려다보이는,
제가 다녀본 호텔 중 가장 아름다운 뷰였어요 🌅
🍽️ 클럽하우스와 리조트 식당엔 한식 메뉴도 다양하게 준비되어 있어서,
마치 한국에 온 것처럼 편하게 즐길 수 있었어요 🇰🇷
💐 도착부터 꽃다발 환대,이렇게 큰 꽃다발은 첨이예요.
석양 속 스윙, 그리고 라운딩 후 비빔밥 + 맥주 한 잔으로 마무리 🍺

AR🚙 #1. The Elephant’s Feet are on the Diné/Navajo Nation adjacent to U.S. Highway 160. With easy access from your car!
🐘 The Elephant’s Feet are two erosional remnants of the Cow Springs Member of the Jurassic Entrada Sandstone, which also forms the adjacent bluffs. The “toes” are formed by the underlying reddish part of the Entrada Formation.
🪨The formations are located near the Arizona-Utah border and are part of rich cultural significance and oral tradition to all indigenous tribes nearby.
🚙#2 The Navajo Moenave Dinosaur Tracks, located near Tuba City, Arizona, is a significant tourist attraction.
🦖This area has hundreds of well-preserved dinosaur footprints from the early Jurassic period. Visitors can walk along a short trail to see these ancient tracks, learn about the area's geological history from local guides, and purchase local crafts from Diné vendors.
🚙#3 Baby Rocks is a scenic spot right outside of Kayenta, known for its unique rock formations.
🏜️Baby Rocks Mesa features hoodoos and balanced rocks, formed by the erosion of softer Moenkopi Formation mudstone from beneath a more resistant Shinarump conglomerate cap.
👶This process carves out pedestals, leaving the large conglomerate boulders perched on top, which may look like small babies clinging to the rocks to some!
📕According to a Diné story, the formations are the result of a girl who was turned to stone for her selfishness.
🏜️The Navajo people are called Diné, which means "the people" or “people of the earth” in their native language. The term "Navajo" is derived from a Spanish word. Many Navajo people prefer "Diné" because it's a more accurate reflection of their identity and heritage. Please be respectful on The Navajo Nation and adhere to their local rules🫶
