CH3 NEW Restaurants in Baltimore City!
I’ve been catching up on new restaurants in and around Baltimore and here are three casual spots I enjoyed:
@brudahskitchen – My favorite bite was the jerk chicken. The rice and peas, along with the cabbage, were also great! Good first impressions here; I’m excited to go back and try more of the menu.
@thelocalfry – You’ve seen them at the Rotunda and at Orioles games over the past few seasons. Their new location at @northwoodcommons is just as cool and customizable. You can customize your wings with lots of different sauces and choose to have them fried hard or soft. I didn’t try the fries on this visit but usually enjoy them. We should all be eating more catfish (if you like catfish) due to the overpopulation, so I got the catfish banh mi, which I thought was delicious.
@happyjacktavern – Apparently, the bar is named after one of the owner’s dogs. Think friendly neighborhood bar with craft cocktails and delicious bar food. For cocktails, we enjoyed “Just Another Mango Monday” which was pretty much a sour mango margarita with a tajin rim and “The Duel After the Masquerade.” The smashburger and wings were yummy. I want to go back and try the deviled eggs because they looked great.
