This visual is powered by Boolean algebra which is a mathematical system where pixels are treated as binary values of 1 for True and 0 for False. By using an XOR logic gate the center shape acts as a logical lens that reverses the background stripes only where they overlap. When a white stripe meets the white circle the XOR gate outputs a 0 to punch a hole through the geometry but when a black space meets the circle it outputs a 1 to flip the color. This creates a hypnotic and rhythmic contrast that is perfectly locked to the math of the loop. #touchdesigner #genuary2026 #genuary #boolean
