ATIn bloom 🌸
This mesmerizing animation by artist and photographer @fabrizioquinoa is the result of five months of meticulous, analog experimentation. Composed of 325 hand-printed flowers, each frame was created using the historic cyanotype process—an ultraviolet printing method that transforms botanical forms into deep, ethereal blue two-dimensional impressions.
Through this slow and meditative technique, Quiñones explores the intersection of time, transformation, and the natural world—each flower at every stage creating a layered rhythm of evolution. The result is not just a film, but a ritual in motion—a hand-crafted ode to the patience it takes to evolve.
