I feel so at peace with myself sitting in a Gurudwara, listening to the hymns doing my affirmations or prayers internally. 9. A long walk + a podcast Find a garden/park in your city, walk, and listen to a podcast you have been saving for some brain candy. 10. Head to a bookstore and find a book that you are instantly drawn to. 11. A homemade brunch for one Most of our meals are rushed, but once in a while, make a slow brunch for yourself. Set the table, light a scented candle, put on some music. 12. Go watch a movie! Buying one ticket and walking into a theatre alone feels oddly empowering. 13. Buy flowers for yourself And don’t just pick the first readymade bouquet you see. Take your time and get a customized bunch made just for you. 14. Visit a nursery. I call it “brain candy” since you really have to think about the answers to get them correct. 🧠🍭 Doing this can actually help decrease a physical pain in your body, try it out! ⚠️Remember I am not a doctor so don’t be scared if you couldn’t do this test in 30 seconds.
