After graduating from Bucknell University in 1999, Brad moved to New York City to begin his career on Wall Street as an equities trader at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Friends and family often remarked how unexpected this path was, given his humble and unassuming nature. His mother, Mary Fetchet, recalls that Brad kept a quote in his journal: “You can tell the character of a man by what he does for the man who can offer him nothing.” On the morning of September 11, Brad was at his office on the 89th floor of the South Tower.
