KATake Notes Brides 📝💍👰♀️
1. Do your face masks/sheet masks the night before the wedding day, not the morning of. These can leave residue on the skin & sometimes your hairline which can affect the makeup application, hair & longevity.
2. Moisturise, moisturise & moisturise again! To get that hydrated glow on your face, décolletage & arms in your wedding photos. Having hydrated skin will allow your makeup to blend smoothly & not soak up the foundation.
3. Lymph drainage massage - Massage your face when applying your moisturiser using the lymph drainage technique. Take this down the neck and across your collarbones to remove puffiness & improve circulation. This will give you a glowy complexion that is Bridal Makeup Ready!
4. Drink plenty of water, eat cucumber 🥒 and ginger🫚 in the lead up to your wedding day. This will flush out unwanted toxins, reduce the risk of breakouts on your wedding day and take down inflammation & puffiness. It also really makes your skin glow ✨
5. Remove Bra straps the morning of the wedding or wear a strapless bra to avoid red marks on your shoulders & back in your photos.
6. Put deodorant on before bed the night before the wedding & then top up the morning of. This will reduce that dreaded fake tan armpit smell that we all love. 😅
7. In the weeks leading up to your wedding reduce Salt & processed foods to avoid bloating & puffiness so you can feel your most beautiful on your special day!
I will be absolutely doing all of these things in the lead up to my wedding day 🤌 Countdown is on, 9weeks 💍💕 #bridalprep #weddingdayprep #weddingskincare #bridepreparation #bridalskincare
