ONI’ve been curious about the barrel jean trend for a while but hadn’t committed to a brand—until I found this pair at @target
I have to say, I’m really impressed with the quality of their jeans. What stood out to me right away is the rigid denim, which gives them that authentic, classic feel. And let’s be honest, a button fly is always a win in my book. The price point is another major plus—affordable and stylish is a rare combination.
Now, these jeans aren’t specifically labeled as tall, but you wouldn’t know it from the fit. I’m 6’3” with a 36” inseam, and the hem actually touches the ground, which is practically unheard of for non-tall sizes. I did cuff the ends slightly to achieve that traditional barrel jean look, and I think it works really well.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I first tried these on. The shape felt different and a little out of my comfort zone. But the more I played around with different styling options, the more they grew on me. They’re definitely a unique addition to my wardrobe.

ADDo you wear jeans to work? As a teacher, I always feel nervous because I don’t want to seem unprofessional in front of my admin. Grey jeans are an alternative I feel a bit more comfortable in. Bonus: They transition from casual to dressy seamlessly with a few adjustments.
It’s always hard to find a pair that’s flattering and these ones I found are a great length to wear come spring time as well. I love that I can wear them to work too.
