What if your programming could actually "hatch" a bug? This interactive system breathes life into your code. By automatically reading characters directly from #VSCode, it tracks the lifecycle of a beetle—from egg and larva to pupa and adult.
•
Beyond randomizing colors, sizes, and shapes, you can even choose between species like stag beetles, rhinoceros beetles, scarabs, or weevils. Whether you're building websites, developing apps, or live-coding music, this companion stays by your side, letting developers “BeBug” while they DeBug.

For this workflow, I integrated VSCode with @touchdesigner to handle the coding. VS Code is incredibly versatile with its support for various languages and extensions, making the development much more efficient. For example, I used ScriptSOP nodes and Python to generate the 3D coordinates and geometric attributes for the bug’s bodies and legs. I then utilized ScriptDAT to loop the code every 80 characters, converting it into a structured data table.

FASi en algún momento necesitas crear aplicaciones de escritorio multiplataforma (Windows, Linux y Mac), dos lenguajes que te permiten hacer esto fácilmente son Python y Dart.
¿Así que porque no usar ambos? esta es la idea de Flet.
Flet es un framework relativamente nuevo, que permite crear aplicaciones web y desktop usando Python junto a interfaces de usuario (Botones, Inputs, etc) que están desarrolladas en Flutter, un framework para crear apps móviles principalmente desarrollado en Dart. es decir que Flet te permite manipular widgets creados en Flutter usando Python.
En la practica usar Flet se le parece a usar tkinter, debido a su facilidad de instalación y uso. Su documentación aun es pequeña, pero tiene ejemplos muy sencillos de seguir, para crear aplicaciones simples de momento.
Flet ya posee módulos de autenticación, animaciones, almacenaje local (sesiones y memoria), Hot Reload, ademas de otras caracteristicas.
y cuando termines tu aplicación te da la posiblidad de convertir tu aplicación a una app de escritorio con módulos como PyInstaller, o como también tendrías una versión web te permite desplegar tu aplicación en servicios de la nube como fly.io.
Aunque como Flutter es popular en el desarrollo movil Tambien tienen planeado permite crear apps móviles pronto usando la misma base de código.
