LUBest Boy Grip @joshiecalder showing us how to hold and move the camera around on set. Camera package is a Sony Venice 2 with Angénieux Optimo 24-290. A heavy build for the students but a great way for them to understand why we use certain procedures in the Camera & Grip departments.
Another way to take the camera off is from the euro plate, this saves weight and also resets the camera to the same position every time.
Always remember, be aware of your surroundings, protect the camera and in particular, protect that front element.
