And god knows the French Riviera is filled with amazing beaches. But the one place i keep going back to, the no brainer “Saturday at the beach” destination, for me, is Cassis. Why ? Let me tell you why; ☀️Because its public beach is very large and made of tiny pebbles. Which is perfect to me. ☀️Because it has private beach options for those who want to be tranquil even on a sunday (if you’re from here you know exactly what Cassis is like on a sunday 😂) ☀️Because in only one day, you can enjoy a beach day, a town visit, a port visit, and a hike to the most beautiful calanques, the calanques de Cassis. It’s all in one, within a relatively small space. Think of Cassis like a snow globe, minus the snow, charming all around and so accessible. ☀️Because after a town visit and a beach day, a dinner by the port is exactly what you need. ☀️Because of the night market all over the port and the town all summer (more on that in a future reel!) The Riviera is full of gems but Cassis is an incontournable. You’ll need a day for the town-beach-port combo, and maybe an extra day to hike the calanques, and enjoy a boat day there. I can’t scream it loud enough, do NOT skip this town on your trip to the south of France 💌 Ps.
