NIOn this day, March 16th, we honour the Cathars
the guardians of ancient wisdom & the bearers of the Way of Love, who were burned at the stake at Montségur in 1244.
Though the flames consumed their bodies, their truth endured.
The Cathars carried on Magdalene’s sacred teachings, preserving the lost wisdom of the Divine Feminine & the path of direct communion with the Divine.
They honoured love, equality & spiritual gnosis, believing that enlightenment was found within,not through religious control.
They saw no hierarchy between men & women, recognizing the feminine face of God as Sophia, Wisdom itself.
For this, they were hunted, tortured & massacred by the Church of Rome.
But before the last Cathar was silenced, a prophecy was spoken:
“At the end of 700 years, the laurel will turn green again.”
That time arrived in 2021.
For nine months, the Cathars held their final stronghold at Montségur, high in the Pyrenees.
When it fell in March 1244, 224 men, women & children walked hand in hand into the flames, refusing to renounce their truth.
🌿 The Lost Treasure of the Cathars 🌿
Some say they carried a sacred book,the Book of Love, containing the secret teachings.
Was this the Holy Grail? A lost gospel? A divine truth hidden from the world? The lost feminine way?
The Cathars foretold that the Church of Love would rise again,not as a religion, but as a movement of the soul. Church means community.
A return of the Way of Love, the Divine Feminine & the lost wisdom that was buried, burned & forgotten,but never truly lost.
There was a Proclamation of the Church of Love written, & every time I read it, I get goosebumps.
It is so relevant to this moment in time, to the great shift happening on Earth right now.
It speaks of the new way, the return of love, unity & divine remembrance.
