The state government claims to be conducting a caste census, a crucial process meant to collect real, ground-level data about people’s caste, economic condition, and social status. But in reality? Officials are simply pasting stickers outside people’s homes that say “survey completed,” without asking a single question, without entering the house, without collecting any actual data.
Let that sink in.
No forms filled. No details recorded. Just a sticker. And this is being presented as legitimate data that will go on to shape reservations, welfare schemes, policy decisions, and political representation.
This is not carelessness. This is a manufactured lie. A deliberate attempt to create the illusion of governance, while avoiding the truth of caste realities on the ground.
How can we claim to deliver justice when the data itself is a fabrication? How can any policy built on this fake survey be called “inclusive” or “empowering”?
We are witnessing an institutional scam, carried out in broad daylight, using our tax money — and it will directly impact the future of marginalized communities.
