Most importantly, you’ll have a phenomenal chat that can turn into mentorship. - Bonus Tip: Scroll LinkedIn like it’s TikTok. I would look at people’s posts, likes, mutual connections, companies followed, and more to prepare for coffee chats. 2️⃣ CASE COMPS + HACKATHONS - Competing in business competitions and hackathons are the EASIEST way to bypass the recruiting pit of doom. - Companies literally send representatives and recruiters to scout for talent. - The winners often gets automatic interviews or exclusive networking opportunities. - Even if you don’t win, chat with company reps and SEND FOLLOW-UPS after the event. People are much more likely to continue the conversation if they already met you vs a cold outreach. 3️⃣ QUARTERLY CONNECTIONS AUDIT - Lowkey my best kept secret…just reuse connections LOL - Every 3 months, look at where your close connections and mentors are moving. Did they recently exit consulting and became a PM at Microsoft?
