the brand of rice is “aahu barah” rice
- wash and soak rice in water for a few hours
- after a few hours, in a cooking pot, bring water to a boil
- add the rice
- once soft, drain the rice
- add the rice back into the pot, add salt water, oil, and cumin seeds for flavor
- put back on the stove on very low heat, cover the top with a cooking towel to absorb the steam
-let it sit for 15/20 mins (once you start to see the steam) then it’s ready to serve 🤌
