Milo was fearless, but one sunny afternoon, his curiosity got the better of him. While chasing a butterfly along the stone wall, he slipped and tumbled down, landing right in the middle of the Lion’s Den. The crowd gasped. In the center of the enclosure sat Leo, a massive African lion with a golden mane. Leo let out a low rumble that vibrated in the air. He stepped toward the tiny intruder, his paws larger than Milo’s entire body. A Surprising Turn Instead of running, Milo did something unexpected: He arched his back. He let out a loud, confident "Meow." He walked straight up to Leo and rubbed his head against the lion's giant front leg. The zookeepers froze, but Leo didn't roar. He looked confused, then tilted his head and sniffed the little orange ball of fur. Perhaps he recognized a distant cousin, or perhaps he was just lonely. To everyone’s disbelief, Leo lay down and gently nudged Milo with his nose. Best Friends Forever From 그 day on, the two became inseparable.
