CHDid you know that you could form pentatonic voicings using notes of the pentatonic scale?
They're beautiful, lush, and part of the jazz language.
They're also quite challenging to get into your fingers - moving around 5 notes is no joke!
So, with more advanced concepts like this, you need clever strategies that'll allow you to gradually download the shapes into your fingers.
But it doesn't end there, because the most important thing is learning how to apply it to music - making it work over the chord changes of a tune.
If you liked the exercise and it's something you're serious about getting better at so that you can seamlessly pull off these pentatonic voicings.. then you're gonna need to know the exact strategies on how to not only learn the many voicings, but how to practice applying it in a musical context so that it doesn't just remain an exercise. And if you're wanting my guidance in helping you navigate this next step, then comment "LAUNCH" and we'll chat.
