This Ciabatta Bread Recipe is going to change your sandwich game 🥖🥪. It is easy, no knead and same day recipe. Crusty from the outside, airy from the inside. Who knew cafe style sandwiches would be that easy to achieve at home? Ingredients: 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour/ bread flour 1 tsp instant yeast 1 1/2 tsp salt 40ml olive oil (3tbsp) 290ml lukewarm water Instructions: 1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the olive oil and lukewarm water to the dry ingredients. Mix with a spoon until a sticky dough is formed. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes. 2. Stretch and Fold (3 times with 30-minute intervals): Wet your hands to prevent sticking. Gently lift one side of the dough, stretch it upwards, and fold it over the center. Do this for all sides. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes. After 30 mins, repeat the stretch and fold and cover and let it rest for 30min. After 30 mins, Repeat the same stretch and fold process as before. Now cover the dough and let it rest for one hour. 3.Shaping the Ciabatta: Generously flour your work surface. Carefully turn the dough out onto the surface without deflating it. Dust the top of the dough with flour and gently shape it into a rectangle. Avoid over-handling to preserve the air bubbles. Use a scrapper to cut the dough in 4 rectangles. Now shift the dough carefully with the help of scrapper to a lined baking tray. 4.Bake the Ciabatta: Preheat the oven fo 225C. Spray little water inside the oven to create humidity. Now Place the prepared baking tray in the iven and let it bake for 15- 20 min or until golden brown and crusty from top. Let it cool on a wire rack. For freshness, store in a paper bag. It seriously doesn’t get easier than a 5 ingredient ciabatta recipe with no kneading, no shaping, and just like 15 minutes of active time! In a bowl, combine 4 cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp yeast, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp sugar. Add in 2 cups warm water and 1 tbsp olive oil. 3. Mix that all together with a spatula until there’s no dry flour left. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes. 4. After 30 minutes, using wet hands, pull one corner of the dough up, and fold it over itself. Turn the dough 45 degrees and repeat. So that 8 times to build some structure in the dough. (Perform stretch and folds). Cover once more and allow to rise for 1 hour in a warm place. 5. Heavily flour a flat surface and dump your risen dough onto that surface (it should fall right out of the bowl). 6. Flour the top of the dough as well, be careful not to move it too much, but lightly pull the sides of the dough in to make a rectangle. 7. Make sure the entire top of the dough is floured, then use a knife or a bench scrapper to cut the dough into 6 equal pieces. 7. Transfer those pieces directly onto a floured, parchment lined baking sheet (no shaping needed). 8. Bake at 440℉ for about 30 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool fully and enjoy! First Save this so you can refer to it later & Share with your besties!💑🥰 This 'no-knead' bread recipe is an absolute all-time favourite and a go to no-knead Ciabatta bread recipe & it really is this easy to make! @la.maisam👍 Ingredients: 325ml / 1⅓ cup lukewarm water 3g / 1 tsp fast action yeast 50ml olive oil / 3 Tbsp + 1 tsp 425g / 3½ cups strong bread flour 10g salt / ½ Tbsp Use a container for this ciabatta dough, I find that it speeds the proving process. -Water should be warm, once you've added all of the ingredients, use a spatula to bring it together. The dough will be quite sticky. -Allow the dough to rest for 30mins in a warm place. -After the 30 mins, dip your hands in water to avoid sticking and bring the dough together stretching and folding each corner of the dough. -Rest for another 30mins. -Now repeat the stretching & folding again and allow to rest for another 30 mins. -Make sure you flour the surfaces well, then use a floured bench scraper or a knife to cut the dough into rough rectangle shapes. -Transfer to a baking tray and allow to rest for 15 mins in the tray then bake until golden brown and crispy! Ingredients 400g Bread flour/ Plain flour 300ml lukewarm water 1 tsp instant yeast 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp salt In a bowl add water, oil and yeast, stir then add flour and salt, mix it with a fork or dough whisk until all combined make sure to scrape the sides and the bottom to get all the flour incorporated. Cover with a plastic wrap and a towel. Rest for 1 hr in a warm place. Fold the dough Wet your hand stretch and fold the dough in, repeat the folds to go around the bowl as shown on the video. Cover and rest for 40min Do this folding 3 more times with 40min resting each time after the fold. Shape the ciabatta bread Generously dust the work surface with flour, tip the bowl over and let the dough slide on to the work surface. Use a bench scraper to gently arrange the dough in rectangular shape. Do not handle the dough too much or else you’ll deflate the air bubbles. Divide the dough into two long loaves then cut each loaf into squares. Mine made 6 squares. Gently transfer the shaped dough to a lined baking tray by sliding the bench scraper under the dough. It’s also good to flour the parchment paper so the bread wouldn’t stick. Cover and let the bread rest for 20min. While it’s resting preheat the oven 200c/ 400f /gas mark 6 Put the tray in and spray water using spray bottle, spray the bottom and sides of the oven as well as the top of the bread this will creat steam and will help the bread to rise. Bake for 30min or until golden. How to Make Perfect Sourdough Ciabatta at Home 🏠 Recipe for 6 medium-sized ciabatta: 320 g bread flour (or all purpose flour) 80 g graham flour (or whole wheat flour) 312 g water 80 g sourdough starter 8 g salt PROCESS: 1. Combine water, sourdough starter and flour until fully incorporated. Let it rest for 30-40 minutes (fermentolyse). 2. After the fermentolyse, add salt and mix until fully dissolved into the dough (5-7 minutes). Let the dough rest for 30-40 minutes. 3. Perform three series of coil folds, spacing them 30-60 minutes apart. These folds help develop gluten strength. 4. Let the dough ferment until it rises by 60%-100% in volume, depending on your preference. This step can vary based on room temperature and starter activity. 5. Transfer the dough to the refrigerator and let it rest overnight (8-12 hours) for flavor development and easier shaping. 6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it warm up at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. 7.Generously flour the dough and the surface of the table to prevent the dough from sticking. Divide your dough into portions (6-8pcs), cover and Let it rest for 30 minutes - 1 hour at room temperature. 8. Preheat your oven with a baking stone (steel) or Dutch oven to 230°C (450°F). Bake with steam for the first 12 minutes for a crusty exterior (I added boiling water to a baking sheet placed at the bottom of the oven), then remove steam and bake until the crust is deep golden brown (10-15 minutes). 🌾 Why graham flour?
