This way, the invisible radiation becomes visible as thin trails of droplets in the chamber. The video shows that the uranium ore contains different isotopes of uranium that decay into other elements and release alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. Alpha radiation consists of helium nuclei that have a positive charge and a high mass. Beta radiation consists of electrons or positrons that have a negative or positive charge and a low mass. Gamma radiation consists of photons that have no charge and no mass.
