AMI use different methods depending on the project. Procreate and Photoshop are my go to digital tools for client work, but I love painting and making a mess in my sketchbooks when I have the time.

SHCollage animation is based on found images. I spent so much time looking for the perfect (or at least usable) photo to cut then transform into something different. Then AI image creation came along and for the first time in history, I was able to MAKE the photos I need and even tailor them to my needs. This results in a more coherent visual world, that still had the quirky look of collage. I build the scenes bit by bit from pieces of images, and for that I go through endless generations, or rendering ridiculous stuff for one tiny detail. This is only the fraction of what I’ve created, and I couldn’t be happier to live in times like this. Probably Terry Gilliam would enjoy it beyond anything. 😻

FAI was preparing for a video I’m going to shoot later today when these trends happen to make themselves visible. What may seem as small or insignificant bumps in our performance truly does have lasting effects. While my progress may not be monumental, it is still progressing nonetheless. CRI LOVE TO SEW, but paper patterns confuse me! And this is why I do fabric collage… and there is no shame in that! 🤣 what is a traditional craft that you absolutely have not been able to conquer? For me it is knitting and following traditional sewing patterns.
