ARWhenever I create a small collage, I think of this formula:
3 neutral vintage papers + 3 papers from one color palette.
I call it the 3+3 formula.
But art isn’t math — and I’m definitely not a mathematician (maybe you aren’t either).
This formula can guide you, not limit you.
It helps prevent overload… but it’s not a rule.
The answer is: PLAY.
Play with colors, shapes, patterns, paper.
Combine complementary colors, repeat the same hue in different forms, explore textures — there’s so much room to move!
Keep the formula in the back of your mind, but stay open. Break it, bend it. Make it personal. Make it yours.
