GO🤩Get ready to witness a new cosmic visitor that won’t return for the next 24,579 years!
🗓️ On September 11, an amateur astronomer discovered a new comet, officially named Comet C/2025 R2. At the moment, it can be observed with binoculars, best seen from the Southern Hemisphere, near the star Spica in the constellation Virgo.
☄️ Comet C/2025 R2 is brightening rapidly and may soon become visible to the naked eye from both hemispheres in October. Look for it shortly after sunset on the western horizon.
⚠️ Keep in mind that the comet is currently close to the Sun, so please observe with caution.
🎯The comet will gradually fade from view in November, disappearing from our skies until its next return—more than 20,000 years from now.
