16 control voltages and 8 gates via USB. 8 of the voltages can be trimmed to 1V/Octave. Initially I'm using this with Processing running on the computer, but it would work with any program that can output serial. The circuit is based on a Pi Pico, 8 MCP4822 DACs, and MCP6004 rail to rail op amps to scale the output to 5V. The serial data runs at just over half a millisecond per sample, which is fast enough to shape nice sounding envelopes.
