NUThis dietitian’s snack pack 🥒🍇🧀
As a picky kid, my diet consisted mostly of refined carbohydrates, such as white bread, white rice, and crackers. Though I loved (and still love!) these foods, I never felt full for long and would end up reaching for more food shortly after meals.
But as I studied to become a dietitian, I learned that including foods with protein (and fat) with meals and snacks kept me satisfied for much longer and that I no longer felt hungry immediately after meals.
Cheese and tuna are two examples of easy, quick protein options I love to include with my snacks. Not only are they satiating, but they pair so perfectly with crackers and raw veggies ☺️

That Christmas (2024) — To record his voiceover for Lighthouse Bill in this animated movie, actor Bill Nighy participated in a highly unusual studio session that consisted entirely of physical exertion sounds without a single spoken line. He spent a full hour panting, grunting, and simulating the effort of pulling heavy levers and opening doors, later describing this completely wordless performance as one of the most satisfying experiences of his acting career.
The animation team managed to secretly incorporate a visual reference to writer Richard Curtis’s previous holiday project, Love Actually, without informing him beforehand. When a group of child characters in the movie complain about having to watch a “ghastly old Christmas boring movie,” the animators specifically chose to display a scene from Curtis’s own live-action work on the television screen as a cheeky prank.

ADThis vegan tres leches cake consisted of fluffy light sponge that has a beautifully moist crumb as it’s soaked in sweet “three milk” syrup. I use a mixture of oat and coconut, and it has the most delicious milky vanilla flavour. This dessert is perfect for making ahead of time too.

MOhere’s what my one last try consisted of:👇🏼

✨Focused more on scalp health than hair health… healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp
✨ Weekly hair and scalp detox to remove all product buildup from the week that was causing my ends to be dry & my scalp to be oily & flaky (the products I use for this are linked in my Amazon storefront - link in bio)
✨Started eating more protein (hair is made of protein)
✨Cut down on how much heat I was using on my hair & switched over to heatless hairstyles 90% of the time (my fav silk curling ribbon I use every night is linked in my Amazon storefront - link in bio)
✨Weekly hair + scalp oil masks applied correctly & with the right blend of oils that helped my hair grow 10+ inches, decreased my hair thinning, & made my hair so much stronger and healthier. This is the thing that transformed my hair the most (the exact oil mask I use every single week to get those results is linked in my bio)
✨Started “dusting” the damaged parts of my hair/split ends to repair & remove damage without losing any length or chopping all my hair off at once
✨Focused on breakage & damage prevention… for example: started sleeping with a silk bonnet, using a silk pillowcase, stopped doing damaging hairstyles (ex: tight buns), stopped brushing hair right out of the shower when it’s wet, stopped using cotton towels to dry my hair, etc (all products mentioned linked in Amazon storefront)
✨Daily scalp massages done the right way to stimulate hair follicles & hair growth
✨Found a weekly hair routine that was actually working & stayed CONSISTENT with that routine over time doing a few things every day that were slowly but strongly transforming my hair
