Method one:
1. In the left hand column, record any questions, vocabulary, main points, and ideas that arise
2. In the right hand column, write the detailed notes that correspond with those prompts
3. Summarise
Method two:
1. Record the bulk of your notes in the right hand column, trying to be as concise and topical as you can
2. In the left hand column, reinstate your notes as questions, main points, important vocabulary etc.
3. Summarise
Revision tip: Cover the right hand column and use what is in the left hand column as prompts. Can you remember the notes that go with them?
