If you’re reading this you’re most likely suspicious of your cortisol and hormone levels. Cortisol is a hormone in our body and if disregulated can leave you in a state of fight or flight. It’s also the primary stress hormone, it increases glucose in our blood stream which aids in repairing tissue. If your body spends a long time in a chronic period of high stress, it will start pumping out too much cortisol creating high cortisol in our body. 5 General signs that you have too much cortisol include: 1. Face and stomach weight gain 2. Extreme Fatigue 3. Anxious 4. Constant brain fog 5. Leaky gut, digetion and stomach issues When I found out I was dealing with high cortisol I started adding new things to my daily routine that helped me lower my cortisol fast.
