As a beginner, it can be confusing to figure out where or how to start crocheting. So I thought of starting a series where we will move one step at a time! 🐥
The first technique that I learnt was the Slip Knot. It’s how you attach your yarn to your hook to get started. It is an essential step to learn especially while rows. 🧶
There are multiple methods to make it, I have shared the one which I find the easiest. 🌸
Do you use another method?
▶️The working yarn is the yarn strand that is connected to your yarn ball or skein. It leads back to the skein.
🪄After inserting the hook into the loop, pull the working yarn to tighten. But do not pull very tightly, otherwise it will be difficult to work during Step 2. It should be neither too tight nor too loose. ✨ Practice is key! 🙌🏻
