SOThis curly hair routine gives me curlier roots 🤯

This is a curly hair method I came up with in 2021 ‘FSM - curl stacking in sections’ 🎬
✨Styling upside down + sectioning + full product coverage = increased root definition for me! My roots can often fall flat with other routines
💞And just to be clear 💬 when I talk about “increasing root curl,” I’m only referring to an enhanced styling result. Nothing permanent. I don’t really believe in “curl training” specifically
Some of us don’t naturally curl from the root (which is completely normal!), but these techniques can help lift and enhance the curls you do have if that’s the look you love. 🤍

MAHey Curly hair friends, here’s my current curl routine for those who asked for it.
I am not a hair stylist or a professional by any means but this is the combo that has been working for me recently.
My hair is very thick, frizzy & coarse.
Products below & linked in my bio
Step 1 : Conditioner @milbonusa ‘replenishing treatment’ + Hair mask @kristinesshair ‘reconstructive moisture mask
Step 2 : Plopping / Bowl method ‘as many times as you need’
Step 3 : Leave in detangler @sheamoisture
Step 4 : Leave in conditioner @miss_jessies ‘multi cultural curls or pillow soft curls
Step 5 : Styling paste @randco ‘mannequin’
Step 6 : A little Spray on wax ‘for the ends’ @oribe ‘flash form spray on wax’
Step 7 : A little Leave in conditioner spray @unite_hair ‘75 seconds Detangler leave in conditioner’
I’m very aware I’m using a lot of products but it’s the only thing that’s been working for me, I am constantly trying new combos & will share them if you would like.
Also if you have any product recommendations to help me edit my routine, Please leave them in the comments 🙏🏼
Lastly I only do this routine every 5 - 7 days ‘you can go longer if you like if your curl is still holding’
