Time lapse video shows the framing , backlighting, and offset hanging method option of an Acoustic Image Panel/ Designer Sign made for @gretschdrums in the new Gretsch Lounge (coming Soon). This took about an hour and a half to create this cool, custom assembly that will BLING the brand in a GREAT way! The video shows the following: FRAMING w Acoustifelt to create an edge condition that highlights the @audimute Acoustic Panel that has Gretsch’s Tag… “That Great Gretsch Sound”! LED BACK LIGHTS are installed behind the Acoustifelt Frame to hide the LED dots, spots etc., when viewing from the sides. (You should see the effect of LED but NOT the LEDs themselves IMO.). The LED power access will run behind the already installed AcoustiColor Panels on the walls. I extended the 2’ power cord to the controller by 8’ and then mounted the controller such that it will HIDE on the back of the panel. Z-bar was glued and screwed to the back of the panel for hanging as it offered a quick way to dial in visually the L and R position of the panel over an existing window. SO to Paul Koren w Impact Lighting - LED GURU - my bro - and LED mentor. CUSTOM OFFSET MOUNTING was created using Audimute 1.5” natural eco-C-tex 6” x 46” Strips. The net offset visibility is 1” when installed… plenty of room for a sexy glow around the panel!
