• — “Two is too young for dance.” We hear this quite often from people. They worry their little one: • won’t listen • won’t go into class without them • won’t follow along • or will just be too little. But the truth is… two is an amazing age to start. At this age their brains are growing, their confidence is forming, and they are learning how to explore the world. And when parents give them the chance… we see the most incredible transformations in just a few weeks. The shy dancer becomes confident. The quiet observer starts jumping in. The little one who didn’t want to leave mom walks in proudly. In this video one of the dancers was so shy she didn’t say one word and needed mom to bring her in, another one would cry for a few weeks and then bam! 💥 A few months later and they are living their best life, being independent, learning to wait their turn (which is SO hard for them at that age when they aren’t use to it), taking turns and so much more! Had their parents given up they wouldn’t have been able to have these moments of growth. The students are too young to notice, but we see it each week. And the best part… these cuties are here for their second year and thriving in their “big girl” classes. And fun fact — Miss Cinthia started dance when she was two years old. So when we say it can be the beginning of something special…She is living proof. Sometimes the hardest step is simply letting them try. 💙
