LYReally easy mending technique to fix a hole in a knit jumper 💚 I found this jumper in a charity shop & it had a little hole in the shoulder but loved the colour and knew all it needed was a little darn 🪡
Steps:
- Get needle and wool or embroidery thread (you want the thread or wool you use to match the weight of the yarn used to make the jumper so I went for embroidery thread as is it was the most similar!)
- Stitch vertical lines over the hole making sure it is wider than the hole and all the stitches are close together
- Using another piece of thread, weave horizontally over the hole, under and over the vertical stitches
- Keep going till the hole is fully covered
- Finished!!
