BLThings to do in Mussoorie/ Perfect itinerary for Mussoorie:
1. Reach Char Dukan by 12ish. The cabs mostly charge around 900/- from Mall Road to Char Dukan, Landour.
2. Have maggi, omelette. Basically something light so you can walk for 30min easily.
3. Ask anyone for the directions for Lal Tibba, maintain silence as you walk past the prettiest trail since it’s also a military area.
4. Upon reaching Lal Tibba, go up stairs (for which they’ll charge you 100/-) to have a look at the Himalayas through a telescope placed there.
5. Nahata Estate, the beautiful grand property next to Lal Tibba is owned by Marwari Film Producer, the land is worth 350cr and the owner never comes to stay and doesn’t wanna sell his property. So no sorry you can’t even dream about buying it.
6. From there, walk towards the back side of Savoy cafe and you’ll come across a beautiful house on your left, that is Victor Banerjee’s Parsonage.
7. 500mt ahead, you’ll find the British Military graveyard. It’s mostly closed but the caretaker is nice so if you nicely ask her to show you around, she’ll give you a detailed description of the graves and she’ll show you Indian Actor Thomas Beach Alter and his family’s grave.
8. Walk towards Devdar Woods for lunch and have their coffee accompanied with sandwich or their chilli toast.
9. Watch the sunset and slowly come down to Doma’s Inn for your evening meal. The interiors are gorgeous and you can’t miss their Ramen and momos.
10. Walk around some more or sit for a bit at Paprika, the view from their balcony seating is beautiful. You can see the entire town of Mussoorie. Have their white sauce pasta, pizza. Whatever you like.
11. Walk back home or for drinks, go to The Glen. They mostly close at 1am, their live music is beautiful and underrated.
