I get asked this question quite a bit and here’s the answer: I would’ve done diagonal pull ups sooner, instead of progressing from regular pull ups straight into MU-variations. Muscle-Ups can be tricky to program - never settle on your explosive pulling strength with this variation 💥 Also this is a great way to get reps in and get used to the optimal pulling angle (as well as descent) 🦅 This is something you can never get too good at! #calisthenics #streetworkout #streetlifting #muscleup

OAP Program in bio ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Inspiration for the exercise is from @yvesgravelle from a old video on YouTube that was specifically for fixing the issue with stability when it comes to one arm dead hanging, but I found it extremely applicable for the one arm pull-up movement. The more stable you are the more efficiently you’ll be able to recruit your motor units which of course will make it easier for you to perform the one arm pull-up. 3 Finger Drag stability drill 2 sets : 5 sec in each position (30 sec total) If you can’t do 3 fingers, use 4 fingers but don’t wrap your thumb around the bar. Try to avoid using your wrist to stabilize as much as possible. Do this before your pull training or climbing training. This is 1/3 of the system that I teach in “The OAP Program by LOIDUONGJR” in which I’ve gotten tons of great feedback for!
