You can’t rely on any single trick alone. If you want to go deeper on how this tech is changing, check out Hany Farid’s work on deepfakes and digital forensics. And if you’re curious about the underlying tech, especially GANs, I highly recommend Matthew Stewart’s article on Medium: “GANs vs. Autoencoders: Comparison of Deep Generative Models.” It’s a great place to learn more. I had a whole section of this video going into GANs but I had to cut it for time.. maybe I can post the full clip later !

This produces a periodic rise and fall in signal amplitude, observable both visually and audibly. Beating is a fundamental concept in wave physics, acoustics, and signal processing, playing a key role in applications such as instrument tuning, interference analysis, and amplitude modulation. Signal cannot give law enforcement your messages. Signal has testified under oath that the only data it can produce is your account creation date and last connection date. That is all they have. But there is a second attack vector that bypasses Signal entirely. If your phone is physically seized and forensically extracted using tools like Cellebrite, Signal messages stored on your device can be pulled directly from local storage. Encryption protects messages in transit. It does not protect them sitting on your device. And if iCloud backup is enabled for Signal, your messages exist in Apple’s servers — outside Signal’s encryption entirely. Signal protects you from Signal being subpoenaed. 📌PULSE AMPLITUDE MODULATION Pulse amplitude modulation is the simplest form of modulation. It is an Analog to digital conversion method where the message information is encoded in the amplitude of the series of signal pulses. Pulse amplitude modulation is a technique in which the amplitude of each pulse is controlled by the instantaneous amplitude of the modulation signal. It is a modulation system in which the signal is sampled at regular intervals and each sample is made proportional to the amplitude of the signal at the instant of sampling. This technique transmits the data by encoding in the amplitude of a series of signal pulses 🔶️The pulse amplitude modulation can be generated through 555IC by connecting one NPN transistor at the output. The connection of this IC can be done in the astable mode for producing a pulse train so that samples of the audio signal can be obtained.
