This is what happens inside your ears when you dive. As you go deeper, pressure increases, your eardrum gets pushed inward 😖
That's why divers equalize every few seconds to protect their ears 😌
👉 For people who wonder what is equalization, here is for basic knowledge :
To equalize, scubadivers pinch their nose and blow gently from it while keeping it pinched. They ear a slight "pop" sound. This is done all the way during descent and never during ascent. Scubadivers must never force when they do this, it has to be smooth and light.
