ESMaharashtra CM Inaugurates Global Esports World Finals 2026 🇮🇳🎮
The Global Esports World Finals 2026 has been officially inaugurated in Mumbai by Devendra Fadnavis, marking a major step forward for India’s esports ecosystem.
The 4-day international event (March 19–22) is being hosted at MMRDA Grounds, BKC, featuring 70+ athletes from 23 countries across five continents competing in:

Clash Royale
During the event, the CM also interacted with top Indian gaming creators like Payal Dhare, Naman Mathur, and Shreeman Legend.

• Creator Infrastructure: A 50-acre esports & creator hub planned near Navi Mumbai International Airport with arenas and content studios
• AVGC Growth: 12 AVGC hubs to boost animation, VFX, gaming, and comics ecosystem
• Economic Vision: Target to make Mumbai & Pune a $50B creative economy hub with 4 lakh skilled jobs
