PH@andyjonesfcuk embodies the ethos of “Effort Not Excuses and Pride Through Persistence.” His drive and resilience led us to drastically transform our coaching package. 🚀
Previously, our focus was on delivering a handful of fitness programmes. Today, we’ve shifted gears towards optimising life performance from a holistic perspective.
We do this with the core pillars of fitness, mindset, and nutrition to create a balanced, holistic approach.
Here’s the story ⬇️
Passionate and relentless, @andyjonesfcuk never backed down from a challenge. His competitive spirit led to a radical reevaluation of our coaching approach.
We revisited our core principles to identify:
- The essence of fulfilment ✅
- The source of genuine enjoyment ✅
- The real benefits of his training, and how it can benefit his life both physically and mentally ✅
This necessitated a TOTAL shift in @andyjonesfcuk’s competitive focus. He transitioned from constant competinh in functional/hybrid fitness competitions to embracing the endurance game.
More significantly, he utilised training as a tool to enhance his overall life quality.
This evolution didn’t signify the end of competition, but rather a shift in perspective - the real competition was against himself, not others.
@plug_in_rehab - came up with a bespoke rehab plan to aid in getting his body back to where it should be and from a training perspective we shifted the focus.
In preparation for @endure24uk, @andyjonesfcuk has accomplished some remarkable feats, from completing 10-hours of loop runs with his team, @mymanorlondon Gas Wars (which is a hell of an event in itself), finding joy in running - which he had never found before, to setting up community walks/runs to support mental health.
Collaborating closely with @primehealthandperformance & @plug_in_rehab, he remains a constant presence in our group calls, maximising the benefits of our elite performance coaching package.
It isn’t always smooth, with injuries and hurdles along the way. But with determination, the right support and most importantly @andyjonesfcuk buy in we always find ways to progress.

This time last year, Andy was transitioning from functional fitness into the endurance game. Fast forward to now, he’s over 30kg down, hitting PBs at 48, and preparing for a stacked season: Highlighted with HYROX in both Rome and London.
The biggest shift, training isn’t just about competition anymore. It’s about fulfilment, enjoyment, and building a lifestyle where health, performance, and mindset all connect. This has allowed an enjoyment of competing to be unlocked.
Here’s what’s changed:
• Running has gone from a chore to something he actively enjoys ✅
• Training is no longer about proving others wrong, it’s about proving himself right ✅
• Community has become central, from local run clubs to supporting others through their own mental health journeys ✅
It hasn’t been perfect, injuries, setbacks, and tough weeks are still part of the story. But Andy’s consistency, reflection, and buy-in have kept him progressing through every challenge.

And solving the waste issue takes a collective effort —
Created from waste plastics collected across Balinese waterways by environmental non-profit organisation Sungai Watch, the Pointman – River Warrior sculptures speak to Potato Head’s ethos of making sustainability beautiful, at the same time underlining the urgency of the universal waste crisis.
Released on 27 March 2023, ‘Futura : Beyond Dualism’ is a re-telling of @futuradosmil‘s reflections during his visit to Bali, exploring the island’s dynamic culture, bountiful landscape and deeply ingrained creative spirit. Along the way, he witnesses the real threats of plastic pollution and the incredible volume of energy that goes into reversing this, becoming inspired to join forces with Potato Head and bring a whole new mission and meaning to one of his most celebrated works, the Pointman.
As we welcome the B&W Pointman back to Bali, we send a special note of thanks to our friends on the front-line, Indonesia’s very own river-warriors, @sungaiwatch ✨💪🏽
