MSThese might be the biggest macarons in Edmonton! @bakenary_ca just opened up their own storefront after operating at different farmers markets. They specialize in macarons — jumbo ones.
There are currently 12 different macaron flavours. Pricing is $25 for 6 macarons or you can buy them individually. The macarons were slightly crunchy on the outside with a soft interior that was stuffed. Overall, it wasn’t too sweet which I enjoyed. I liked the Dubai chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, and Snickers flavours the most.
The space has an area for baking classes. You can learn how to make your own macarons.

YEWe have @tucha.la in Edmonton… jk 🤪 @ahlan_coffeehouse just opened in St. Albert (130 Bellerose Drive) and I was invited to check out the space!
I tried a few things, but the ones that really stood out were the fruit cakes. They’re $18 each (DEF on the pricier side), but honestly, they taste pretty good. A bit steep for me to enjoy regularly, but they’d make a perfect gift for someone you really like. 😉
The karak chai was on the lighter side for me, and I enjoyed the half-sweet Spanish latte. It was creamy and smooth. They also have smoothies and crepes which I’ve heard great things about.
