Animals that might be gone by 2026 The Lone Wanderer was born on July 13, 2258, to James and Catherine at the Jefferson Memorial, where they worked on Project Purity, a complex operation centered on using a highly-technological water purifier to cleanse the sealed-off Tidal Basin of radiation and make it drinkable once more. James' colleague and friend Dr. Madison Li acted as nurse during the delivery. Unfortunately, Catherine experienced sudden cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter. James suspended the endeavor and traveled to Vault 101 via Megaton with the help of Star Paladin Cross who defended James and the baby from mutated creatures and raiders along the way. James and Cross also stayed at the saloon in Megaton owned by Colin Moriarty briefly, where they discussed the future of Project Purity. Colin mentions that the baby Lone Wanderer would not stop crying. Dr. Li somehow helped James relocate to Vault 101. #misterious #death #survivor #rare #extinct

The Dogo Argentino is a bold and muscular working dog that was developed in Argentina during the 1920s by Dr. Antonio Nores Martínez. Created to hunt large game in packs and protect its handler, this striking white breed was formed by combining the now-extinct Cordoba Fighting Dog with breeds like the Great Dane for size, the Pointer for tracking ability, and the Bull Terrier for its iconic white coat. Strong, athletic, and fearless, the Dogo was capable of tracking and holding powerful animals such as wild boars and pumas. Physically, it stands out with its solid build, reaching up to 27 inches in height and weighing between 80–100 pounds. Its short white coat is sometimes marked by a single dark patch near the eye, commonly known as the “pirata” marking. Despite its tough hunting background, the Dogo Argentino is known for being deeply loyal, affectionate, and closely bonded with its family. These dogs are protective by nature and can be cautious around strangers, which makes early socialization and consistent training extremely important. Due to their strength, energy, and strong prey drive, Dogos are best suited for experienced owners with an active lifestyle rather than first-time dog owners or apartment living. Potential owners should also be aware of a known genetic issue in the breed — partial or complete deafness, which affects around 10% of Dogos. Extinct...ish 💋 The Coelacanth has been swimming the seas for more than 400 million years, but this “living fossil” was once believed to be extinct. Scientists thought that the Coelacanth had disappeared with the dinosaurs. Then, in 1938, a living specimen was caught in East London, South Africa. These rare fish can grow over 6 feet long and weigh in at more than 200 pounds, yet they spend most of their lives drifting deep underwater, hidden away. Plan your trip. ➡️ fieldmuseum.io/visit

The Northern White Rhino is functionally extinct, with only two females remaining under 24/7 guard in Kenya. After surviving for roughly 55 million years, this subspecies was driven to the brink in just a few decades by human poaching for horns and habitat loss, highlighting a rapid, human-driven extinction event. . . #explorepage#fyp#foryou#viral

🌿 The dodo bird is one of the most famous extinct animals in history. Once thriving on the island of Mauritius, these flightless birds lived peacefully without predators for thousands of years. They evolved from pigeons, growing larger as they fed on fruits, seeds, and other plants in their lush island home. When Europeans arrived in the late 1500s, everything changed. Rats, monkeys, and pigs were introduced to the island, destroying nests and devouring dodo eggs. Without natural defenses or fear of humans, the dodo quickly became vulnerable. Within less than a century, this unique bird vanished forever. Despite being gone, the dodo remains a powerful symbol of survival, change, and the impact humans can have on nature. Their story teaches us not about weakness, but about how quickly an ecosystem can be disrupted. #DodoBird #ExtinctAnimals #HistoryFacts #AnimalHistory #WildlifeStories
